Recipe: Mandarin Salad

Season chicken breast tenderloins, turkey breast, or shrimp with lemon pepper and chipotle flavored Mrs. Dash then pan-grill in a skillet using cooking spray. If using chicken or turkey, shred cooked meat with a fork.

Lay spinach and arugula mixture over a plate and top with meat, mandarin oranges, and sliced almonds and chestnuts (optional).

Drizzle with 1 tbsp of red wine vinaigrette and add shredded mozzarella if desired.


  • 4 ounces of select meat (turkey, chicken, or shrimp) | for men, 6 ounces of meat
  • Cooking spray
  • Spinach and argugula
  • Mrs. Dash lemon pepper blend
  • Mrs. Dash chipotle blend
  • Red wine vinaigrette
  • Mandarin oranges

Optional Ingredients:

  • Sliced almonds
  • Chestnuts
  • Low-fat, natural mozzarella or Monterrey jack cheese, shredded
